In 1998 Landon earned his first black belt in American Kenpo Karate under the guidance of Leroy DiNatale of the WKKA/ GKKA (Baltimore). After about 2 years of training with Siu Lum Martial Arts Academy with Will Lauren and boxing at Jack Castello's Gym (Philadelphia) he began his Hung Ga Kuen education. Over the next several years Landon would train intensely growing the skills of Yee's Hung Ga's Tong Fong version Hung Ga Kuen. While studying Hung Ga Landon practiced for several years the art of Capoeira, Bagua Zhang, Baji Quan, Tai Chi Quan, Xiang Yi Quan, Shuai Jiao and American style wrestling. In 2009 Landon was recognized as a Sifu and discipled under the tutelage of Sifu Pedro Yee (Clifton, NJ), a top disciple of Grand Master Yee Chi Wai (Si Gong Frank Yee). After becoming a successful full contact Lei Tai fighter and coach, Landon began the process of bringing all his knowledge and experiences together to train his current and future students.
